It’s the world’s biggest alpine comedy festival – where stand-up meets ski season – returning to the Austrian Alps from 30 March–3 April 2026. Set in the picturesque resort of Mayrhofen, Altitude blends top-tier comedy with mountain adventure, from pristine slopes and late-night après-ski to panoramic views and laugh-out-loud shows.
Comedians and audiences share the lifts and pistes by day – from first-timers to experienced skiers – before heading to the stage by night. The 2026 line-up features Al Murray, Paul Smith, Jason Byrne, Marcus Brigstocke, Felicity Ward, Deirdre O’Kane and more.

Returning to the iconic snowy peaks of Mayrhofen, Austria, the much-loved event will take place from 30th March to 3rd April 2026, bringing together top-tier comedy with breathtaking mountain adventure.
The first names confirmed for the 2026 line-up included the triumphant return of Jason Byrne, joined by festival co-founders Marcus Brigstocke and Andrew Maxwell and now we are revealing the near-full line-up today!

Set in the heart of the Zillertal Valley, nestled between the Penken and Ahorn mountains, Mayrhofen offers something for everyone, from seasoned skiers and snowboarders to complete beginners (you will find a lot of the comedians learning to ski or snowboard in the first few days).
