BALANCE IN MOTION - ON WATER Two of Pentacles

BALANCE IN MOTION ON WATER

When we speak of being on solid ground, it’s easy to imagine only the earth beneath our feet. But true grounding is an inner state, emotional stability, resilience, and the ability to remain calm under pressure.

It’s what allows us to navigate challenges without stress, to respond with intention rather than react impulsively.

Water becomes “solid ground” the moment you add mindfulness. It becomes a surface you can trust — not because it is stable, but because you are.

Surfing has always captivated me, especially in film and television. Rodrigo Koxa, the Brazilian big wave surfer who broke the world record at Nazaré, Portugal, embodies this idea. His HBO special The 100 Foot Wave opened a doorway for me into the concept of TRANSURFING, and I wanted to share it with you.

TRANSURFING, or Reality Transurfing, teaches that human beings shape their lives not only through action, but through the way they think. It is a mental technology, a way of achieving goals by directing and refining your attention.

The concept was introduced by Vadim Zeland, a Russian quantum mechanics physicist and writer.

Transurfing suggests that reality is composed of countless “tracks,” and that we can slide into the one that aligns with our desires by matching our inner frequency to what we seek.

But first, we must detach from draining thought patterns, conserve our energy, and learn to ride the wave of positive flow. Meditation is the gateway, the practice that restores balance and clears intention.

And this is where the Two of Pentacles comes alive. It is the card of motion, adaptability, emotional equilibrium, and the art of balancing energies while moving forward.

Just like the Egyptian surfer, poised on a wave, grounded on water, aligned with intention, the Two of Pentacles reminds us that reality shifts when we do.

Balance is not stillness. Balance is movement with mastery.
