The Jaguar and the Dragonfly –- Fantasy-Adventure.

LOGLINE: An orphan refugee, believing her parents will return, balks at being adopted by a wealthy Hollywood family, but when the Limo going to her new home catapults into a river, her spirit is rescued by a Shaman who awakens her to the value of life.

BRIEF SYNOPSIS

· BREEZ, an eight-year-old Guatemalan, living in a foster home for three years. She has bonded with Salvador-10, whose parents were shot sneaking over the border when he was six.

· Martin DelRio, owner of Hollywood Film Studio DELRIO, and his wife, movie star Violet DelRio, and their 12-year-old son DASH, arrive at the Foster Home to adopt Breez, but she refuses to leave unless they adopt Salvador also.

· Martin says no, but Violet wants both. Dash wants no part of either.

· On the way home, the limousine hits a guard rail on a bridge and catapults into a river. Breez is unconscious. Her spirit separates from her body and floats down the river.

· She is rescued by a Shaman Medicine Man in a canoe.

· Her body goes to the Trauma Ward; she is in a coma.

· The rest of the family is banged up, but alive.

· The Shaman takes Breez to Hoop Island, where his two assistants (A Dragonfly named GAMBLIN GOBLIN, and a Bee(JAZZEBEE) escort her on a magical journey of discovery.

· Dash and Salvador bond in the hospital when Salvador reveals he wants to be a Movie Director and he wants to make Breez’s favorite book “THE MOST WARY, SECRETIVE, LEAST CONSPICUOUS, JAGUAR EVER,” into a short film starring Dash.

· Dash reads the book and takes his part seriously. He performs as if he was a young Leonardo DiCaprio.

· Breez’s time to remember who she is and return to the real world with no side-effects is running out. She must decide if she wants “To Be, or Not To Be.”

· She returns, but her eyes have changed from brown to the Golden Eyes of the Jaguar, a result of learning how to make gold while she was unconscious.
